Menu and Toolbar: Window

The menu Window contains shortcuts to access the various windows of Embedded Wizard Studio:

The Window menu

Close this Composer

With this command you can close the currently active Composer page. This command has the same effect as clicking in the navigation bar on the small button of the corresponding Composer page:

Don't worry, closing Composer pages doesn't affect the associated project information. No information is lost when you close a Composer page.

Close all Composers

With this command you can close all Composer pages excepting the project main page. This is useful if you have lost the overview because of many opened Composer pages.

Close other Composers

With this command you can close all Composer pages excepting the current page and the project main page. This is useful if you have lost the overview because of many opened Composer pages.

Composer

With this command you activate the Composer window. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Templates

With this command you activate the Gallery Templates window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Browser

With this command you activate the Gallery Browser window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Inspector

With this command you activate the Inspector window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Editor

With this command you activate the Code Editor window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Log

With this command you activate the Log window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Variables

With this command you activate the Variables window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Callstack

With this command you activate the Callstack window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Chora objects

With this command you activate the Chora objects window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Memory (RAM) usage

With this command you activate the Memory (RAM) usage window. If currently hidden, the window will become visible first. Subsequently, you can interact with this window directly by using your keyboard.

Show/hide debugger windows

With this command you can temporarily hide all currently visible debugging windows (Variables, Callstack, Chora objects and Memory (RAM) usage). Activating this command again restores the window state. This function is useful when you want to uncover the screen areas lying below the debugging windows.

Link Editor to Inspector

With this command you can temporarily connect the Inspector window with the Code Editor. Once established the connection, the attributes and properties selected in the Inspector can also be read and modified within the Code Editor area. This is convenient in particular when you need to enter long text for the attribute or property.
