This attribute determines the caption text for an annotation group member.

The value of the attribute Caption has no direct effect on the function of the GUI application. It determines only the text to show in the caption area of an annotation member. The attribute can be initialized with any arbitrary text.

To inspect or modify the value of a Caption attribute, select first the affected annotation member. Thereupon, the attribute is listed in the middle area of Inspector:

When you intend to enter a longer caption text, it is convenient to activate the menu option WINDOW➤Connect Editor to Inspector and edit the caption text directly within the Code Editor window instead of using the small input field in Inspector. In the Code Editor you can also enter multiline text for the caption.
